This is my 2nd Sophie Kinsella. My first was Burn Out (which I loved). I loved this one too. I've been in a bit of a book funk for quite a while so this one was a welcome change. I was ready for a "light" read (after trying a bunch of "heavy" reads and dropping them). This is a "light" read but at the same time, it's fairly "heavy." Sylvie and Dan have been told by a counselor / shrink that they have 68 years in front of them and the more they think about it, the harder it becomes to digest. So they decide on a plan to surprise each other in some way every year. I won't spoil it for you but will say the surprises end up going south every time. And then the biggest surprise of them all involving Dan's father and Dan's fidelity emerges. The good news is there turns out to be multiple Marys and things improve, big time. That last sentence couldn't be more cryptic. Read this book and you'll understand!
