"The Bradley Method" © 2007 by Lee R. Bradley Contrary to popular belief, "The Bradley Method" is not limited to recognizing the time-saving advantages of doubling recommended cooking temperatures and halving cooking times (or, more generally, cooking at nT°F for t/n seconds, for n arbitrarily large). As Paul Harvey says, here's "The Rest of the Story." Motivated by a desire to be able to recall something I have experienced in the past, I record my experiences in memo pads and transcribe the notes to machine readable form ("Journal") back up files I create or download and, when they've filled a CD, create a file that contains the directories, sub-directories and filenames of the files on the CD ("Cats") save documents (articles, listings, invitations, letters, etc.) and, when there about 100, create a file which has one line descriptions for each item ("Boxes"). I have written several search programs and I also use the free WebSideStory indexing service to look up things like people's names etc. etc. in the text files mentioned above. If I get a hit, I am then able to locate either the CD file, the Box item or the Journal entry that has the details. After running, I am interested in accuracy, efficiency, clarity and humor.
