I like to call this "Heartbeat" as it looks somewhat heart-like. Our
heart lies in the center of our chest, hence the central position. The
reddish-pink "chimes" radiating from the center activity represent sound.
The outer black lines can be anything you like for them to be.

"Heartbeat" is a mixed media piece 8 inches in diameter. I used Windsor and
Newton Calligraphy inks (which are transparent) for the first time. It
is an unfinished piece, but I may choose not to add any further color
simply to keep it ... well, simple.

This is an untitled piece which was done in about an hour Tuesday
afternoon while waiting for someone. I was feeling rather positive at
the time and felt like expressing some similar kind of "vision" or
"outlook" on life. It was drawn with black archival ink using a
Micron .02mm pen. It was done on Strathmore Bristol 400 paper and is
roughly 14 inches x 14 inches.

This is ... extremely good. Amazing what a positive state of mind and
the right pen and a talented person can knock out in one hour.
