Heartbeat I like to call this "Heartbeat" as it looks somewhat heart-like. Our heart lies in the center of our chest, hence the central position. The reddish-pink "chimes" radiating from the center activity represent sound. The outer black lines can be anything you like for them to be. "Heartbeat" is a mixed media piece 8 inches in diameter. I used Windsor and Newton Calligraphy inks (which are transparent) for the first time. It is an unfinished piece, but I may choose not to add any further color simply to keep it ... well, simple. Back
