Inner Life

Well, I seem to be into tiny things lately. This one, created this
morning, I call "Inner Life." This took about 2 hours. The inked
area is 8" in diameter. As with other pieces, I never know what they
will be. We all see different things -- and that's the beauty of
art. I see an "inner life" as depicted by what appears to be a very
closeup view of (maybe) brain activity. The very center bold
"convolutions" with their accompanying fine lines look like some
sort of mini-brain part. Surrounding them, and still in the center
of the amoeba-like structure, are very active structures. They seem
"lit up" as noted by their pin point "explosions" or "successful
connections." There appear to be 3 surrounding structures each of
which are highly integrated with various important pathways for what
could be thoughts happening. The outer bold lines look like a highly
magnified tissue structure into which we see this "inner life" going
on. More details on this drawing will come later.

drawn on archival illustration board (as with most recent pieces).
Media is technical pen -- about 5 tips were used.
