Over the last few years, I have been drawn to this image. One first asks:
"What are those lines and what do they mean?" It is a good question and I am
not certain of the answer. I like to think of them as "beams of
communication." They mysteriously come from hiding places in the mountains.
As in most of my night scenes, this too is not found here on our earth. And
so, our imagination takes us to another level of questioning. Who might be
doing this communicating? And what might they be saying? Are they friendly
messages? And are they "speaking" to one another -- or are their messages
directed outward -- deep into the Universe to some other far off land? I like
to think all are applicable questions since there are no set rules in art and
the journey of our own imagination. I will commit to one answer however. I
see them as very positive lines of communication.
