This painting has two antique white museum mats each of which is very
thick (8 ply). The frame is made of wood and has a very light reddish
tinge to it. The profile is very simple with about a 3/4 inch flat
border. The piece is framed with ultra-violet glass. The double mat
has three openings. Three inches of matting shows on the top and sides
of the piece. The base is "weighted" showing 4 inches of matting.
