In June of 1990 this first painting of "wind at night" was completed. It is a peaceful scene depicting some of the first design elements in the artists work in 2000 and 2001. This painting has helped the artist aquire some recognition in the Concord Art Association's member's shows in the past and is now part of collection of works in Shirly, Massachusetts. It is unusual in the sense that it brings to life something we all know and feel on warm summer evenings: wind. And, as in other paintings, it easily draws one's attention toward serenity and peace through its "flow" of simple landscape elements. |
