On Their Path This is the first in a series of two paintings which personifies islands floating in the Universe. I like to think of these "lands" as being on some sort of mission -- some course which (hopefully) will lead to a positive outcome. Are they going off to do battle? Or are they simply traveling together in peaceful fashion? It remains a mystery. I like to think of them more as spiritual symbols for all the world to aspire. Unlike asteroids, these "lands" have a recognizable form. They move in harmony in the night. They seem more peaceful when viewed with the dimly lighted moon in the background. When I look at them, they seem to move to the left -- and very slowly and quietly and confidently for some reason. Back
