Peaceful Message Above At first glance, one may see a flower in this scene. I did not intend to paint the flower although having one there is an interesting idea. Instead, I was interested in an abstraction of God as well as the incorporation of what I like to think of as some "path of entry to" God. The pink "flower-like" structure is intentionally beautiful and "all encompassing" much as we might like to think of God as being. The arching pathway up to and back down from the center of the "flower" is symbolic of our knowledge and aspiration to come to know God. Once having "arrived" at such an understanding of Him, we then "return" to our normal daily lives here on Earth hopefully living in light of such understanding with others and by ourselves. Back
