Release II

I was at first interested in doing an oil panting much like a much
earlier acry;ic painting completed in May of 1993.  I chose to call it
Release.

During the linen canvas preparation, I realized it would need to be
extremely accurate in terms of measurements.  Since the canvas was
susceptible to expansion and contraction from drying primer materials,
I opted to redesign the painting on smoother illustration board.  The
following Facebook link is quite lengthy and covers all aspects of the
design's creation.  In the beginning, there were spacial designing
'problems' which (with the help of my very smart brother) I learns how
to resolve using algebra.  This compilation of images and text I would
not expect anyone to read in one sitting since it involved about 2
months of work.  It does however show this painting's development
quite well, from its first scribbled rough notes to its colorful
conclusion in June of 2022.
