 This 6" x 6" technical pen drawing (with colored pencil additions) is admittedly a bit of a deviation from a larger work still in progress called The New Path -- which I hope to complete sometime this year. This small piece took about 2 hours. It's a new year and although some have had much to say about the global pandemic being (in many cases) a legitimate reason to back away from activities they once enjoyed, I actually cannot really use this as an excuse. Life has been good to me and I've enjoyed this time to catch up on certain things like connecting with my brother and sister (Lee and Sally), running, reading, puzzle making and writing. Creativity must go on! It's not what we think about doing which matters. It is the act of doing it. So, today was fun to get back to such peaceful, productive moments. I'm grateful to have the opportunity for them! A larger view
