A couple of people are trying to organize a fishing trip this year. Everyone is welcome to come. Thoughts please.
We're planning a fishing trip this spring (mid May) up in the Canadian Rockies. Space is limited. We'll do some sight seeing at Jasper, wildlife photography and that sort of thing.
The highlight of the trip (other than fly fishing for brown trout) will be river rafting. Nothing serious. No white water that would prove dangerous. Just some quick rapids. Maybe enough to get you a little damp.
I guess the thing that'll make our trip really memorable is the fact that our river rafting guide is a full-blooded Native Canadian, born and raised in this area, and knowledgeable concerning the territory and the obstacles we may encounter on our journey. I believe having a guide who is intimately familiar with the local area and who can pass on local folklore will make the experience that much more memorable.
A photo of the raft & river we will be running together with our guide's photo and qualification summary may be viewed by clicking the link below.
